DRM was the Solar design firm that developed the first Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Design-Build Solar PV system to back-up rail signal power systems.Said to be one of first such Rail Signal Solar PV Design project in the country.
DRM designed a method to replace 99 miles of open signal cable with localized power sources including localized PECO feeds, solar panel, and battery backup systems.SEPTA has since awarded DRM the design of Four (4) additional Regional Rail Lines Solar PV Systems.
